Welcome. I’m Jae, a clinical practitioner with over 15 years of experience helping clients navigate various journey

Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal step, and it is a profound investment of your time, energy, and financial resources. When you enter my clinical space, my first priority is building a genuine foundation of safety. Being "trauma-informed" is an essential part of my practice; it means we move at a pace your nervous system can handle, ensuring you always feel grounded, respected, and heard.

However, I also believe that true trauma-informed care means actively helping you heal, rather than keeping you in therapy indefinitely. Sometimes, well-meaning therapy can unintentionally become a "venting loop"—a cycle where you spend your sessions seeking validation and analyzing your week, but find that your day-to-day life isn't actually changing. While having a safe place to vent is comforting, my practice is built on the philosophy that therapy must be effective. There is a gentle but vital distinction between being validated in the moment and experiencing tangible, physiological relief and deep neurological change.

Whether we are working through deeply rooted relational trauma or unpacking the hidden pressures of being a high-achieving professional, my deepest hope is to equip you with the clarity, internal calm, and self-compassion you need to confidently step out of the therapy room and back into a life you truly enjoy living.

Somatic Resourcing First

Standard cognitive interventions often fall flat when your nervous system is in "fight or flight." Before we process heavy emotions, I prioritize somatic regulation. Using body-based resourcing, I equip you with concrete physiological tools so you can safely process trauma without feeling overwhelmed or emotionally hijacked.

Active & Focused

I am not a "blank slate" therapist who simply nods and listens. I take an active, collaborative role in our sessions. We will work together to gently interrupt unhelpful cognitive loops and "zero in" on the exact core beliefs—such as “I am inadequate” or “I am responsible for everyone else”—that are driving your distress.

Demystifying Psychology

I actively integrate psychoeducation into our sessions so you understand exactly why your brain and body are reacting the way they are. Using relatable imagery and vivid metaphors. I will translate complex psychological frameworks into practical, everyday tools.

Work with Depth and Symbols

Drawing heavily from Jungian psychology, I use symbols, dream and imageries so my clients can explore their "Shadow", the hidden, often rejected parts of their identity. By exploring these underlying archetypes and projections, we can uncover hidden resentments and unspoken boundaries, leading to profound personal integration rather than just superficial symptom management.

Authentic Connection

Therapy is a human-to-human collaboration. I bring my authentic self to the room with a conversational tone that neutralizes the clinical power dynamic.I use humor and my own authentic self as an agent of change. By sharing, modeling, and showing up as a real "fellow person," we break down clinical walls to do the heavy lifting together.
