To Read & Explore at Your Own Leisure
Jae and her husband Joey have been working on the books you find here, for quite some time. Slowly and meticulously, and there are more books on the way, when they become worthy of your attention. These books are written about topics both Jae and Joey find close to their hearts, and find the topics to be very important. We have explored these subjects as thoroughly and rigorously as our schedules permit, as they aren't the easiest matters to think through nor deserve to be taken lightly. Of course, needless to say, Jae and Joey are only offering their thoughts in these books, based on their own experience, insights and research, in the hope that it will be thought provoking for the reader, if not helpful. The research sources are disclosed wherever possible. Both Jae and Joey fully appreciate the fact that the way they themselves have explored these topics, are most probably not the only ways to look at the subject matter. And the solutions they have come to find, are of course not the only set of solutions, nor are they suited to everyone's needs. That said, happy reading! We look forward to hearing what you think about our work, the good, the bad, the ugly, however it is that you find these books. Please feel free to leave a review on Amazon, Goodreads, Google Books or wherever you find our work. Thank you!

Eighteen Year Solution
How to Handover Responsibility as Your Child Grows
Jae Yoo, M.Ed., CCC-CCS · Joey Nishad
COMING SOON!
Every child is different, and so is every parent. But what is not different is the love you have for your children and every parent's hope that their children will grow up to become the best versions of themselves. This book is about helping you navigate that dream, a framework to realise it step by step, year by year, as your children become more of what they will grow up to be.
The first night home, nobody sleeps. Two adults stand over a cot doing arithmetic about a person who cannot tell them anything, because somebody has to. That arrangement is correct. It is also the arrangement that is still running twenty-five years later, when a man in a flat in another city is woken by his mother, who has already rung his landlord about the damp and already worked out that he should leave the job. Nothing announces the change in between. No letter arrives from the school. The handover happens, when it happens, because a household went looking for it.
Eighteen Year Solution follows one family from a first night home to a daughter at twenty. Frances and Otto hold every decision at six weeks and none at nineteen, and the book shows exactly how each one moved: what they measured before they handed it over, the two they handed over too early, the one they took back, and the one they should have given away years before they did. When they separate, the method has to run across two houses and it very nearly does not.
Built on forty-six verified studies and written for one household at a time, including the ones with two addresses and the ones with one adult.
